DVG, a doyen of Kannada literature is a multi-faceted personality. Though, he claims he has not studied well, his writings are really very well. His books, Mankuthimmana Kagga and Maralumuniyana Kagga are very good. They provide insight and food for thought.
His other books, especially “Jnapaka Chitrashale”, 8 volumes of them have been categorised and gives a clear picture of the history in common man’s perspective of the period around upto independent India.
